Happy Learning… when we know better; we do better!

The healthiest pet food for my dog or cat is a species appropriate diet which is a raw or gently cooked diet. Ideally, you should select a food that does not have any synthetic vitamins in it.  You can go to our PET FOOD page to find out more.

If your pet has diarrhea or vomiting give some SLIPPERY ELM, ADORED BEAST GUT SOOTHE, or Adored Beast Feline Gut Soothe. Fast the pet 24 hours and feed only gently cooked turkey or whitefish. Reintroduce the food. Also, feel free to read our information about DIARRHEA, VOMITING, and STOOLS.

Traditional vets recommend many vaccines that pets don’t need. On our VACCINATIONS page we have identified the core vaccines. You should administer the vaccines between 12-16 weeks old. After that, you should titer test to determine the level of immunity your pet has developed. It’s usually for 7 years or more! Find out more about titer testing at that link as well.

You should call the Poison Control Hotline at 1-888-426-4435.

You may also need to visit a veterinarian. We highly recommend that you have  ACTIVATED CHARCOAL ready to administer to your pet immediately after it is ingested. Find out more on our First Aid page.

To ensure proper care, cleanse the affected area using MANUKA HONEY or COLLOIDAL SILVER. It is normal for a bump to persist for several days to a month. Please rest assured that the tick’s head will not survive without its body and will naturally extricate itself. For effective detoxification of your pet, administer ADORED BEAST LIVER TONIC or  MILK THISTLE for a period of 30 days.

For more information go to our flea & ticks page.

It’s a great idea to help your furry friends detox a few times each year! If they’re feeling under the weather from their food, after a round of antibiotics, or even before and after vaccinations, a detox can be really beneficial. Be sure to check out our DETOX page for helpful tips and specific products to support their detox journey! And we have a page specific to detoxing from vaccinations too just to help!

This is a great question!  There is so much material out there and limited dollars to spend! We have compiled a great list of BOOKS and FACEBOOK GROUPS that we would recommend.

We have several HOLISTIC VETS AVAILABLE who do online consults for a fee.

We do not respond to individual questions regarding your pets health through our website at this time.

You can also visit our Saving Pets One Pet @ A Time Facebook Group where you can ask for advice from moderators and members.

We really appreciate it.

Itchy and inflamed skin is a sign your pet has a leaky gut most likely caused by something in the diet that they are intolerant to. Go to our LEAKY GUT page for more details.

Our recommendation is:

Use the Ucari Pet Intolerance Kit (for dogs and cats) – 10% off with this link – to determine what your pet is intolerant to. Note:  They also have a human test kit. If you buy both, you get a better discount.

Feed a raw or gently cooked die with a novel protein (rabbit, bison, venison, lamb, and turkey). It is imperative that you eliminate any kibble you are feeding.

Use the CANINE ADORED BEAST LEAKY GUT PROTOCOL  or the FELINE ADORED BEAST LEAKY GUT PROTOCOL. This will detox your pet and also help relieve the symptoms.

Also, purchase the CBD DOG HEALTH ALLERGY DUO or CBD DOG HEALTH CAT ALLERGY DUO as well as the CBD DOG HEALTH REPLENISH SHAMPOO , which will help ease the symptoms (it’s important you do both).

It took a long time for your pet to get this bad, and the symptoms will not disappear quickly. It is important you address the cause and not just the symptoms. Patience is a virtue.
